Giveaway: Sambazon drinks

Well hello there! I know I have been missing for quite some time, but there has been a lot going on. Andrew was sick, work was insane, and well other bumps in the road. The good news is, Andrew is better! Mr Flowers in coming  to visit in a week! AND Christmas is just a few days away!!!

I week or so ago I heard from Stephanie who offered a great giveaway on new products from Sambazon.

Tonight these package arrived at the door. I love seeing the blog written on there 🙂

Here are two of the smoothies she told me about:

  • Supergreens is a fusion of vitality-boosting kale and ginger, providing two full servings of fruits and vegetables, and more than 120 açaí berries in each bottle.

Both smoothies are USDA Organic, Non-GMO Project Verified, Ecocert Fair Trade, vegan and gluten free, and make a healthy, delicious snack or light meal replacement to grab on-the-go.

I have to say, I have not tried this smoothies yet. I wanted to get the giveway out ASAP! (apparently the VIP vouchers expire Dec 31st, which is really a bummer)

Paleo Challenge and Wrapping Presents

Yesterday, I had a mini meltdown. The reason: stress and unhealthy eating. Then when my sister in law asked how things were going in life, I just started crying. Besides all the things in life, I noticed she had lost a lot of weight. She looks great!

My brother and sister in law are eating paleo. (I’m not sure if that’s the “plan” they are following, but basically eating clean)

I decided today’s the day. I am giving myself a 7 day PALEO challenge (because with Christmas coming, I know it won’t happen) But the next 7 days are ALL MINE!

I know I can’t do 100% but I can do 90%. Any help and suggestions are welcome!

I first started with a trip to the grocery store.

(I still need a list to make sure what IS and ISN”T paleo)

NOT paleo:

Breakfast: 2 eggs, sausage links, and peppers

Lunch: Sweet potatoes and left overs from last night. Banana for dessert

Snack: cashews

Dinner: Crockpot pork tenderloin, carrots

Dessert: Cookies (recipe tomorrow)

I might have more food pictures on here to keep me in line. PLEASE feel free to help guide me along this 7 day challenge or join along!

Breakfast X2

Today, was a bit of a strange day. After working three 12 hour shifts, coming home to an upset kiddo, and other family issues,I needed a good day.

I started with an hour nap (after taking Andrew to school) and a class at the gym. Muscle works again!

breakfast #1: oats, pumpkin, 1egg, cinnamon, PB, banana, and milk. And one lonely ice cube in the middle 🙂

Our elf was also having an adventure today

All he needs is a cowboy hat” said Andrew haha

Breakfast #2 was dinner: egg and banana pancake with PB on top, and 2 sausage links

Pretty darn tasty!

Question for you:

Do you like breakfast for dinner? What do you usually make?

Spring cleaning

I finally decided to CLEAN HOUSE! No it isn’t Spring, but it was WAY over do.

THIS was  the problem!

Too many clothes, not enough space.

Some of the clothes don’t fit, others were from my freshman year of college!!!!

I started with two HUGE containers with donate, keep, and a bag for trash

I ended up filling up both!

The closets are now OPEN and I fit in all the clothes in there!! Now I just need to find a place to donate the clothes….

Question for you:

Do you keep clothes longer than necessary?

Look what I found!

This week, I headed to the grocery store for some almond butter. Unfortuantly, they didn’t have many, and those they had were expensive.

Until I found this!

I know other bloggers have been using PB2 for awhile, but it is now in St Louis! WAHOO!

I needed to try this ASAP. So I made a 1/2 PB and banana sandwich. DELICIOUS

It also comes in chocolate….OH MY!

I just love Peanut butter. (PB irish soda breadbetter’n peanut butter, PB banana bread, pumpkin pie oats, peanut butter granola)

Ok. I’m obsessed.

Question for you:

Do you eat peanut butter? what is your favorite kind?

Decorating with Bing Crosby

The past few days, Justin has been running the household.

Elf Camo

Andrew and I were able to get the tree decorated

With Bing Crosby Christmas on Pandora. We also made funny faces, and made up some new dance moves

We only had one casualty 😦

It turned out great!

Tomorrow, we will finish putting the lights outside!

Question for you:

What is your favorite Christmas song?

-I could listen to any Bing Crosby song

Videos for kicks

This past week, Andrew and I have gone to see Christmas lights and to the zoo. Even though I was bummed that the Kansas trip was canceled, Andrew and I have been getting a lot done around the house, and having fun around the city.

I thought I would share two videos I took with you. The first is thehristmas lights show, that has its own radio station that the lights play insync with!

The next, is a short video from our zoo trip with the seals. they were amazing.

You can hear Andrew asking to take a picture, that’s why it is so short haha

and sorry they are sideways, I have no idea how to change that

Question for you:

Are you ready for Christmas? What do you have left?

-I have alittle shopping left, and I need to get the lights hung up outside
