Quick arm workout

This past weekend I headed to the gym on a time crunch. I was going to be watching my twin niece and nephew, so I only had 45  minutes. I started with 30 on elliptical (legs were killing me from kickboxing and rowing)  then I decided to take a “leg break” and work my arms. It actually turned out pretty awesome! And the workout wasn’t impossible, but I could DEFIANTLY feel it!

I know it isn’t much, but it is a start, and trust me by the end, your arms are feeling it!

Weekly Workouts

I was feeling great this week! The workouts were tough and I lost 2lbs! But I know that the workouts were only a part of it, it was the eats. I have been tracking my carbs on sparkpeople.com and it makes a HUGE difference.

Sunday: Jumping at sky zone 🙂

Monday: 12 hour shift + 40 min bike

Tuesday: 12 hr shift

Wednesday: 35min ellpitical + arm workout

Thursday: 60 min kickboxing class (I was a red sweaty mess~!)

Friday: 12 hour shift

Saturday: 1 hour spin class

I have also been looking for new recipes so I don’t get bored. Like the paleo pumpkin cake and the protein version!

Thursday: Halloween! 20 min elliptical + Angie’s full body  circuit

Saturday: 30 min elliptical + arm workout

Yep. I picked up TWO EXTRA 12 hour shifts. Call me crazy. But the week,  even though it was long, I survived (and made some good Christmas money)

Even though I didn’t workout nearly as hard as I wanted to, I still lost a 1/2 a lb! I also have been taking my measurements at the beginning of the month, and they all went down! (except my arms…might be the arm workout… and sanding all the railings at my house haha)

And the only way I lost weight this week was because I got a lot of sleep, and I watched what I ate. I kept track as much as I could this week, and it made a BIG difference. Knowing that I love morning glory muffins, I also know that even though they are “paleo”, eating a bunch a day, equals way too many carbs. So I took a step back, and went back to the basics. Meat. Vegetables. Fats. Some fruits. And thats when I started to lose again.

Even though the workouts were not hours of workouts, I still feel great and my clothes are feeling much better. Now to lose the 30lbs!! But it is just one week at a time!

Weekly workouts

Those 12 hour shifts just get in my way! haha. Monday was alittle bit of a bust, but my body needed the rest after Saturday night. I always seem to pick it up at the end of the week.

I wanted to try new workouts, and MAN did I get just that! Of course I think my favorite was the cardio kickboxing class. I woke up on Friday feeling sore and satisfied that I worked some great leg muscles. I love waking up sore for a workout!

Sunday: 12 hour shift
Monday:  Just the squat challenge
Tuesday: 12 hour shift
Wednesday:  30 min ellptical + full body workout
Thursday: Cardio kickboxing
Friday: 30 min bike + arm workout + ab workout
Saturday: 12 hour shift

Wednesday was a New body workout that I found on pinterest board. I have found some great workouts on there for future use!

I am hoping that by the time this post is published (Im writting this on Tuesday) that my sister in law will have had her twins!!!!!!!!! I plan on writting Friday all about twins. Can you tell I’m excited??!?!? Well I have been for about 9 months haha
