Day 4: tooth fairy

Happy Wednesday! We woke up to have breakfast before school and andrew started complaining saying there was metal in his eggs! And why would I do that? I of course was really worried, until he spit it out, and we realized it was his tooth ūüôā

Another successful day. I did eat a few fries at dinner with my parents, but im ok with that.

Breakfast: eggs, broccoli, peppers, and bacon

Plus coffee! and protein coffee

Lunch: cauliflower mash

Snack: lots of honey roasted peanuts, babybel cheese, and some chicken

Dinner: buffalo chicken salad from Joey B’s

Lots of the same food for the past few days, just making my way through leftovers. Grocery store tomorrow!

Workout: t25 abs. Did not have the energy for total body haha. tomorrow. also mowed my parents grass. Got almost 12000 steps!

tracking eats for accountability

I have found the past few weeks I have been have lots of tummy issues.  Pains,  etc, all not good.  Well if you take a look at what I have been eating you can see why.  I have been working slot of extra 12hr shifts at work,  also not sleeping alot. Which leads to overeating and bad food choice for me.

When I first started this blog,  years ago on spark people.com, I was blogging my eats and workouts to keep myself accountable.  And let me tell you. Often really worked. So when I was complaining talking with Angela about my concerns,  she suggested we keep each other accountable By recording our eats on our blogs for a week. I know,  that when I have to report to Angela, I am going to eat better.  I dont want her to know about all the junk haha.

So I started early,  just to get the ball rolling. I also have a hard time remembering to take pictures of my food. This day I did two workouts (more on that later) so I have lots of proteins and eats

For example,  my first day I forgot to capture breakfast.  Oops.  I have eggs and bacon. So not exciting anyway

Lunch #1: stew meat with shredded cheese, snap peas,  and watermelon

So I felt pretty good about this day!

What I ate Wednesday

Yesterday was a bit of a roller coaster. Andrew had oral surgery for an extra baby tooth. No biggie, but still scary (for him and me!) Everything went just great! but my eats were a bit over the place. I am also trying to bring myself down from the sugar high known as vacation haha

Now time for getting back to regular eating!

Breakfast Part 1: 1/2 a banana and PB (didn’t want to eat a huge breakfast when Andrew couldn’t eat or drink. poor guy.)

Breakfast Part 2: Omelet (2eggs, peppers, american cheese) and turkey bacon

First run of the year

Yesterday, I decided to get my act together and track my food and workouts.

Breakfast: 2eggs, 1 egg white, with peppers and sausage. side of bacon

Gym time: 30 min on the bike, 30 min weights

Morning pick me up: coffee with whipping cream

Lunch: Leftover stew

Dessert: Using something new! (recipe on Monday)

Snack: Frozen Blueberry, spinach, protein powder, PB2 (1tbsp), and water (green monster with my smart stick!)

Well then. I worked out again. No joke. A few of the moms got together on a BEAUTIFUL 60 degree weather day for a run. My very first of the year. (again no joke)

After the half marathon last year, my knee and ankle were bothering me. I took some time off. Switched back to older shoes. And the 3 mile run was a success! No knee of ankle pain! I also got to catch up with other moms. I swear there is nothing like talking with another mom about your worries, concerns, or frustrations.

The weather, endorphins, and talk made me feel a MILLION times better

Today was a great day! I hope everyone else had a good one too

Andrew started out with pancakes, while I had eggs, bacon, and morning glory muffin (they are going to be gone by tomorrow!) (muffins here too!)
