Smart Stick Green Monster

The past couple of days I have had a HUGE craving for green smoothies (even with the snow. I know…strange..)

I have even made a few before, mostly with frozen blueberries

I now made something different

This time I used the smart stick!


Which I am SOOOOO obsessed with

Banana and PB Smoothie


  • PB2
  • 1 banana
  • 2 cups of spinach
  • 1 scoop of vanilla protein


Mix and drink!

Today was a great day! I hope everyone else had a good one too

Andrew started out with pancakes, while I had eggs, bacon, and morning glory muffin (they are going to be gone by tomorrow!) (muffins here too!)


I then I headed to the gym!!! 30 minutes on the bike and 20 min of weights

My other favorite food right now is my green monster


Dinner was a new recipe! That I will post this weekend (more veggie hiding)

Time for some energy

Holy Moly. What a day. I had a bit of a revelation.

Yesterday, I had a sugar overload. I could NOT stop eating candy at work, and then I had the crash. Then I felt bad. Then I cried myself to sleep. Ok. I didn’t do that, but it made me realize something. I want to eat foods that give me ENERGY!


When I got up today, my goal was to eat healthy, not have the afternoon crash, and not get cranky with Andrew

Breakfast: 2 eggs, sausage, and paleo pancakes

Then I went crazy. Laundry, dishes, cleaned the kitchen and bathroom, and workout class at the gym. ALL BEFORE NOON!

The rest of the day, before I ate something, I said “Is this going to give me energy? or no?”

I went shopping, and made a green smoothie and brought snacks for the trip haha


Lunch I tried to recreate my Fitz’s Burger.

Random Tuesday

I have a lot of random things to share with you!

The bathroom walls are finally up in the bathroom!

I went to Grant’s Farm w/ my sister in law and nephew. We first fed the goats, which jump on you to get the milk

My favorite, the parrots

My nephew liked the elephants

I had a special note from Andrew on the way to the grocery store

Flu + running kicks

Good news: The little dude is feeling better, no fever, and even made it to school!

Bad news: My mom now has the FLU!!!!!

No joke. I swear, don’t come w/ in 100 miles of St Louis.

Today, I ran to get my mom’s prescription, get her zup, ice cream, popsicles, italian ice, and pudding. She looks pretty rough, so I made sure to keep my distance. And Andrew isn’t allowed over there, because he will get it even if he looks at her haha. But they will be together soon


Breakfast was quick and easy. Half a banana and PB, I didn’t want a full belly because I was taking my running kicks to the outdoors!!! It was in the 60s here! AMAZING!

The run was not. Apparently I was thinking it was Spring time and I didn’t bring water w/ me and the park turns the water off in the winter. (damn them) But I still finished 4 miles, while dragging my behind back to my car!

Lunch was amazing! Pizza (I ate the side w/ corn for lunch. And apples for dinner)

Moments after lunch, my sweet tooth hit. But I didn’t have much to choose from. Then I saw the dates- YUM! While watching Ellen

After getting Andrew from school, we both made some smoothies.

Mine: frozen blueberries, spinach, vanilla protein powder, yogurt, milk, and ice.

I also had a bagel thin w/ banana and PB. THen we went and played some b-ball.

After dinner, and putting the little guy to bed. Had some new carrot cake!

This is a Paleo recipe, but I promise you it is good. And I wasn’t starving for more. I had one piece, and that was all I needed!

Today was another blah day, but I made it through.

Before taking the WONDERFUL long and painful CPR class at work, I ate my fav egg sandwich w/ PB and banana.

Then finally home to hang out with my little dude. Of course that was cut short, because we had to take my dog riley to the vet

tired from a run

It wasnt a big deal, but he has been itching like crazy and his skin is BRIGHT red. We think he has allergies.

He was nervous while we were there, stayed RIGHT by me and yelped when the vet came in
Sorry its blurry, he was moving around like crazy!
At least we did have some nice wall paper to look at….

And of course this lil fellow came along

then it was time for some poison.

Ok not really. Just a green smoothie. I wasn’t really hungry for dinner, but I wanted something smooth and cool.

LIKE ICE CREAM?? well considering I didnt work out (besides playing some bball in the front yard)

I knew I needed to eat something healthy. I do want to be in the 180s this week!!

I am only 1/2 way through! Ive been listening to some rockin’ music

(rewind) We have been talking recently about how we still feel for each other. Nothing has happened. I think we are both just trying to talk and figure out whats going on, before doing anything.

Anyway, we are suppose to get together and talk. but I told him that he can decide when and where…..that was this morning (still no time or day) and Im getting antsy already haha

10 miles and pinwheel pizza

Today started off late. I didnt get up till after 9! I havent done that in a while.

Breakfast was quick and easy, because I wanted to get on my bike!

After my new favorite breakfast, I was ready to ride!

THe ten mile ride was a little rough, but that is because my bike tire was a little flat.. 😦

When I got home, a quick spinach smoothie was made and it was off to the pool

what do you think of my new swim suit top?? its from target (yes. I should be banned from that place haha)

After laying at the pool with my neighbor, it was time to get home for a shower and to eat lunch!

pinwheel PIZZZAAAAA!

AFter helping her scrapbook for several hours, it was home to get some more grub. A slice of cheese pizza went undocumented (my bad) But I was pretty satisfied with it.

I gave in to my sweet tooth with a chocolate pudding with pecans and fiber one cereal. WHich my nephew was eyeing……..

He’s lucky I didnt have sprinkles in there, otherwise I wouldnt have shared haha

Ok carbs arent the best. But look at that protein!!!! I haven’t had protein that high in AGES!!! So happy about that. And I my garmin told me I burned 500 calories during my bike ride. SWEETTTTTT

my body is SOOO tired. So I am going to make this quick!

Then it was time for spin class at 9 AM!

At first I was just going to work out on my own, but then for SOME stupid UNKNOWN reason I decided to go for it. ANd man am I paying for it.

I swear, if I would have heard her say turn it a half a turn to the right, I was going to throw my water bottle at the instructor haha

When I got home, my dad asked if it was raining outside because I was so sweaty hahah GROSS!

Then it was green monster time!

I had this smoothie in car on the way to get books for my kiddo, then to my house to work.

I ended up painting cabinets and my son’s room for 8 hours!!!!!!! My body is SOO tired.

But like peanut butter fingers always says “you never regret a workout. You regret NOT working out”

Lunch was a turkey sandwich, sunchips, a diet pepsi (I know bad. but I wanted caffeine)

then dessert was three vanill acookies

I was full till 9pm- Thats 8 hours!!!!!!! crazy. I never forget to eat haha

I just had a PB banana sandwich and now, Im calling it a night!

Today I got to sleep in till 10 WAHOO! And Im so glad I did because spinning class KILLED my legs!

Before the gym I had two pieces of bread, better than PB and 1/2 banana

After spinning, I had breakfast/lunch. Two eggs, red peppers, and american cheese with a side of clementine and other 1/2 banana

I then was feeling EXTREMELY dehydrated, so I made a green monster

Dinner was chicken, pasta sauce, mushrooms, and red peppers w/ side strawberries

My son and I then had a movie night
