Today’s winner: Dinner

A lot of my blog friends, have a What I Ate Wednesday. Well I picked Thursday instead haha 😉

Breakfast: Oatmeal Pancake w/ bananas, PB, and agave nectar on top

Snack: Cucumbers, carrots, hummus, and grapes

Snack #2: Peanut butter filled pretzels (while watching Ellen and reading blogs. I’m a muli-tasker, what can I say? haha)

(notice dirty sock and orange dart? Neither our mine. Neither of them did I pick up haha)

Snack #3: Colby cheese and apple slices (obviously I ate lunch in 3 parts today haha)

Dinner: The winner of the evening Barbeque!!!! This was our first time grilling since last summer!! (the horror!)

We had hamburgers, sweet potato fries, and watermelon. It is starting to feel like summer! (along with the 95 degree weather- YUCK)

(3 plates you might ask? My mom came over to eat with us, since my dad is out of town)

Dessert: Good o’ ted drews 🙂

Oatmeal Pancake

Oatmeal Pancake

Ingredients:

-1/2 cup oats

-1 egg

-1 tsp cinnamon

-1 tsp baking powder

-1/4 cup of milk

Directions:

1.) Mix all ingriedents in a bowl

2.) Heat skillet and spray w/ cooking spray

3.) Spread ingriedents onto  pan in shape of pancake.

4.) Flip

5.) add toppings! I love PB, banana, and agave nectar. And you can make lots of designs w/ it!

How much are you taking?

Today. was interesting.

I started the day by walking Andrew to school. This is probably my second favorite part of the day (besides walking home w/ him) But I just love how we get out, walk together, and get to talk. Today we played “dont step on the crack, or you break your mother’s back” . DId you ever play this as a kid?

Besides the fun walk, I was not feeling so well. Migraine was still hanging out, so I went back to bed. I mean who does this! I know I have been doing this for the past few months, but this is just not me. I am NOT usually this exhausted and tired.

After waking up (for the second time) I made breakfast. An oldie but goodie!

I also had an iced coffee on the way to the doctor. I will say she is amazing, and talked to me for a good amount of time so I could give her all the info about what has been happening the past few months. Of course, there could be a few sources of the problem, so I got a bunch of blood work.

To which I asked, “how much are you taking”. And I got this cool arm band to wear to the bleeding stopped. Dont be jealous 😉

Blood work complete. Time for some pistachios and the gym. Since Andrew is going to his dad’s this weekend, I decided to head to the gym and stay for as long as I wanted. I started w/ 20 minutes on the treadmill and then an hour of weights! I can already feel it!

Dinner w/ my mom for a beer and salad at Joey B’s while watching the Mizzou game, which if  you watched, you know they lost 😦

And to end my Friday night, I cleaned the bathrooms, did laundry, and watched more basketball while catching up on blogs. It was pretty FABULOUS haha. But I was glad to get things done around the house, since this week I didn’t do much.

Challenge for tomorrow: Dont buy any food in at work. I have my whole lunch packed, I dont need to get anything else.

How was everyone’s thanksgiving?!?!

My day started with a big breakfast with Andrew.

Of course we goofed around too haha

Oatmeal pancake and LOTS of coffee!

 And then we watched the parade. Someone was VERY excited about santa and asked the whole THREE hours when Santa was going to be there haha

 After the parade, we headed to my parents and played baseball for two hours! Then it was time to make the rest of the food

 Of course while we were cooking, the guys were checking out the four wheeler haha

  We then ate A TON!

 Of course we took a lot of pictures!

  We also played the Wii and some cards. Eventually it was bedtime and bigger pants

 haha I actually did pretty good w/ the food. I ate but didnt go crazy like usual

Sleep…..

 I woke up this morning begging for a little more sleep….no luck 😦

Breakfast was an oatmeal pancake I found here Katheats.

I made a few changes, I used a whole egg. Added pumpkin and pumpkin spice.

For the topping: I mixed chocolate protein powder and peanut flour and water.

YUMMMMYYYY

Next was church and a play date for my son.

While, he was at his friend’s house, I went to the gym to run intervals. I know it was absolutely gorgeous outside, but I knew I would be a wimp if I ran outside. I also took the P90X test. Ill post them tomorrow, and then in 90 days Ill retake it.

Lunch: Left over pizza and cucumbers.

 I also had another bowl of cereal….yup addicted

After that, it was cleaning time….and someone stole my camera.

After cleaning, I tried to rearrange my blog and worked on my ABOUT ME page.

For dinner it was Ribs from sams, blueberries and greenbeans

Then theres this guy sitting right next to me while I blog…
