Weekend o’ fun

Andrew and I had a jam packed weekend o’ fun!

~Saturday~

Andrew had requested pancakes for breakfast, so I whipped up some paleo pumpkin pancakes

Next up was the grocery store, and then to some estate sales with my sister in law.

I picked up this small table for Andrews room(to paint), some tools for the house, small container of stain,  and then this coat for $4!

It needs to be dry cleaned, but I have been looking for a coat like that, and they go for $80 bucks at kohls!

After a quick lunch, and 30 minute workout with p90x3, we decorated the house.

This year we were definitely behind on the decorations, but it turned out really cute. now just a nose a mouth for the front door 😉

After running around the house, cleaning and putting things away, along with cooking, it was time for a bon fire with some of my friends.

It was such a nice night out. We had pulled pork, salsa and chips, and smores. Lots of eating!

 

~Sunday~

I love that weekends can start with a great breakfast. (when I’m not working… )

Andrew and I then went to church. I then did one of my favorite p90x3 workouts.

After that, it was lots of laundry, dishes, cooking, and cleaning. And baseball out front with Andrew since it is in the 80s here! After that we headed to my parents for dinner. My sister in law made this amazing cake!

It was REALLY delicious too! There has been a lot going on in the family, so we haven’t had many family dinners, and this one was needed. There is A LOT going on this week, but more on that later….

What I ate Wednesday: Simple eats

Yesterday was a busy day of catch up, simple eats, and a nap. After working lots, I needed a day to play catch up with laundry, dishes, papers damn bills, workouts, and a nap 🙂

The morning started with LOTS of coffee. I was dragging but knew I needed to seize the day

After taking andrew to school, I unloaded and reloaded the dishwasher (where do all these dishes come from when I am at work all day!) Then started laundry, and ran to the store real quick.

Then it was time to get down to business. I knew that if I didn’t work out, it wasn’t going to happen. I just started p90x3 and since I missed Monday, I did both Monday and Tuesdays workout.

Let me tell you, I LOVEDDDD it. And they are only 30minutes! I did total synergistics and agility x. I definitely recommend this program. and even though, I didn’t have a pull up bar at the time, I just did push ups.

Lunch time was calling my name after two sweaty workouts. Roast beef with a little bit of cheese and ketchup, cucumbers, and grapes for dessert.

Then it was nap time. I slept for an hour! My body definitely needed the rest 🙂

After that it was time to clean the bathrooms. I would pay someone each week to this job haha. Andrew was finally home for school and it was time for a snack. meatballs and snow peas for me. I could feel my body needing more protein

The rest of the night was low key. I was still exhausted. So Andrew and I watched 10 kids and counting while eating stew and then dessert was a chocolate shakeology.

This time it was chocolate shake, pecans, maple syrup, and water. delicious 🙂

Lots of delicious eats! simple. but good 🙂

Weekly weigh in success

Ohhh My. So u meant to publish this at the beginning of the week, but it has been alittle crazy. I picked up two extra shifts. Yep. Five 12 hour shifts. I was only off thursday. (my paycheck will thank me later)

So lets get to the good stuff….

Finally a successful week! The past few weeks I have gone up and down a lb here, and a lb there. And finally after really focusing on my eats (aka using my myfitnesspal and shakeology), and working out.  finally I was seeing weight lose!-

I am officially down 14.5lbs from may!!! i could not be happier. I have more energy. I sleep better. My clothes fit better, and I am able to wear old/smaller scrubs to work, that earlier this year wouldnt even Fit over my hips!!!

Shakeology is definitely helping with my sugar cravings. Which i usually get at evening/night so thats when i have My shake. You can check the shakes out here!

nEW pLAN: start p90x3 on monday!!!

I am really excited to start this new program. I LOVEDDDD t25, which helped me lose the 15lbs. But im ready for a new challenge 🙂

So here is to a new awesome week!! My goal is to hit the 170s By the end of the Month, just 2.5lbs. I can do this!!!
