three days!

Breakfast with the little guy was oatmeal again. Its in the 40s here!!!

My oatmeal: oats, PB, banana, cinnamon, and a scoop of pumpkin.

I tweeted this morning about whether or not I should go back to bed or go to yoga….

Well I told myself, YOU’RE GOING!
And it was totally worth it. I even tried a new pose (we used the wall though, which helped A LOT!)

I wasn’t too impressed with it

On the way home, I got a 300 calorie pumpkin spice latte. Im not sure if it was worth it, but MAN it was good!

Then lunch. Good o’ pasta, broccoli, peppers, chicken, and parmesan cheese

And dessert was a chocolate pudding with some cinnamon pita chips. It was DELCIOUS.

 time to get Andrew from school, do homework, and then I cleaned up the Lego mess……and I found that the red spray paint SPREAD PAST the drop cloth I put down. AWESOME. So for an hour I was scrubbing that off the laminate floors. (it still looks pink. darn it)

Dinner was thanks to trader joes pizza dough. Love that stuff and my picky eater does too!

I had a side of acorn squash and he had carrots

I added corn to my pizza- DELICIOUS!

 we got Ted Drews ice cream. (my weakness) and watched the cardinals game at my parents house, with my parents, nephew, and andrew

I defiantly ate way to much ice cream. Deep breath- moving on.

THREE DAYS TO THE HALF MARATHON!!!!!

Have you started eating/drinking warmer things now that its cold outside?

(I guess I shouldn’t talk. I ate a whole galloon of ice cream after dinner and it was 48 degrees outside haha. But the oatmeal and coffee this morning was awesome!)

Veggie overload

Today started off with getting Andrew to school, and then a much needed nap.

(last night and this morning I had this HORRIBLE headache. For the most part that means Im dehydrated and its time for bed.)

So breakfast was at 10am. (NICCCEE)

 remember yesterday’s yoga class? Well my shoulder muscles are on FIRE! I don’t have much upper body strength, and can now see how yoga is so worth it! (in many ways)

So no upper body workout today. Instead I went to the gym and did the treadmill intervals for two miles. Then waked a mile at a high incline. Got extremely sweaty! I was going to go to target after, but needed to shower (as a courtesy to the other shoppers haha)

 I had a coupon for 12 dozen free eggs, and a dollar off the Light n Fit yogurt.

I also got some Xmas cards (I know Im ahead of the game, but they are really cute!)

 Now I just need a picture of me and Andrew (let me know if you want one! haha)

 My dad also worked on my sidewalk that we started working on FOREVER ago.

 Well we needed to cut some of the stepping stones. But I first had to buy the blade and my dad said it was a lot easier than he thought (YEA!)

 

 Now we will have to just even them out, and lay the rest of the them. Looks SO much better than when I moved it.

Dinner was pasta, chicken, and every veggie I could find.

 

 I was craving veggies- can you believe that? Red pepper, carrots, and broccoli. All, I had to add was parmesan cheese. DELICIOUS!

Ok not really. But yesterday I was REALLY in the cooking mood when it came to dinner. And it was SUPER easy.

First, I started out with broccoli and noodles on the stove, while cooking the chicken in the oven.

I swear there are noodles there. haha

Then I googled “laughing cow cheese + pasta sauce” and got A SPARK RECIPE!! WAHOO

Then for dessert. I followed my heart to Peanut Butter. And well to the Peanut butter boy blog. (yep thats right!)

I found an awesome PB irish soda bread recipe, that was just SCREAMING my name. Anyway. It. Was. Pretty. Darn. Good. (remember soda breads arent very moist-thats how they are suppose to be)

Yesterday was a pretty good day. New pizza recipe!

Last night  I went out with Lydia, a friend that I work with in the NICU. I have been talking a lot about my feelings of my ex, and she told me WE NEED TO GO OUT! We had a blast!

This morning I woke up CRAVING hash browns. Well I didnt have potatos, but I did have sweet potatoes!! So I sliced them, added olive oil, salt, and cinnamon.  With a side of  eggs

Lunch was left over pizza. Then my snack was my good o’ friend- PB and banana on bread

While cooking my camera got stolen!!!

 So last night, I plugged in my phone right next to my water on my night stand. Wellllll the condensation on the cup got on the table. Well my phone was sitting in water this morning, and wont turn on!

so sad…Im having to use my OLD phone.

No exercise today except playing soccer with my son twice. This is him today playing goalie for his indoor team- They won!~

Im always so nervous when he play goalie haha

Back in the Lou

HI EVERYONE! sorry its been awhile. I went on a GREAT girls trip this weekend, and was busy eating, drinking, shopping, and eating some more haha

I will update you later this week about ALLLL the adventures. For now I will just start with today

Breakfast was strawberries, then took my son to school and headed to sams. Then I had a BIG bowl of cereal

cereal + PB + banana + protein powder

 Then I painted for 6 HOURS!!! With the help of my brother. Closing day for the house is April 29th!!

After getting covered in paint (and starving) I made a quick sandwich with lettuce and tomato on an arnolds thin. With a side of apple and colby cheese. (I also had cashews)

This meal wasnt till 4pm, so I wasnt too hungry for dinner. I did make it for the rest of my family, and tried some myself

Dad’s Birthday Part Two

Another crazy saturday.

Started out with a bowl of cereal (fiber one, kashi, chocolate protein powder, milk, and PB). Forgot my banana- DARN. but still good 🙂

Then off to the gym, after scraping four inches of snow off my car to go to the gym with my friend. We were taking a new class, I love having a workout buddy!

Then I shoved with the “help” of my dog, Riley

For lunch it was a repeat of dinner, chicken pasta sauce, provolone cheese, peppers, and mushrooms.

Then I had a TON of trail mix. It looks like I measured it….but went back for more…and more

Spinning

Today I got to sleep in till 10 WAHOO! And Im so glad I did because spinning class KILLED my legs!

Before the gym I had two pieces of bread, better than PB and 1/2 banana

After spinning, I had breakfast/lunch. Two eggs, red peppers, and american cheese with a side of clementine and other 1/2 banana

I then was feeling EXTREMELY dehydrated, so I made a green monster

Dinner was chicken, pasta sauce, mushrooms, and red peppers w/ side strawberries

My son and I then had a movie night
