The weeks are flying by here in St Louis. Probably because of work, and always trying to stay on top of all the shit to stay busy.

I thought I would just share some of the RANDOM pictures I have on my phone. Its actually ridiculous…… but fun to see πŸ™‚

A photo filled weekend

This weekend was a bit all over the place, but Andrew and I had blast, got a lot done, and some new things in their too πŸ™‚

After 2 hours of baseball on Saturday, we had a low key evening.

Sunday started with church, and coffee. Lots of coffee

The old one had a window, and was old and rotten. It really was not the best. And I am all about safety. Who am I getting excited about a new door. First, the garage door, now this haha

While they were doing that, I was making pear butter from pears from our family farm.

Healthy snacks to curve cravings

A few weeks ago, I started a group on facebook. Team Knockout. I know, really cool name πŸ˜‰

I started it, not only because I am a beachbody coach, but because I wanted to help people. After losing 15lbs, I wanted to help other people too! I still have more to lose, but I know that feeling when you are actually eating well, working out, and you feel great! And I want to be a part of that and helping them succeed!

This week, I had a friend who asked about healthy snacks that would help with cravings. I thought what a great way to share some ideas, and help with that sweet tooth! And those strange people who have salty cravings (haha jk!)

~apple and peanut butter

~dark chocolate chips (try sugar free if dark is too much)

~grapes

~watermelon

~colby cheese and apple slices

Salty

~cashews

~homemade trail mix (cashews, almonds, and some dried fruit)

~cottage cheese (can add fruit)

~kale or sweet potato “chips”

Of course, there is always carrots or a shakeology shake πŸ™‚

The big thing is, you NEED to have these available. When you are making your shopping list (make sure you aren’t hungry!) and add fruits, veggies, nuts, and cheese. If you are worried about things going bad, get frozen. Andrew will have frozen blueberries with his eggs for breakfast. That way, I don’t waste money on fruit going bad.

These are the foods that are going to help you curve cravings. And each day it will get easier to step away from the cake, move away from the chips.

What I ate Wednesday: Simple eats

Yesterday was a busy day of catch up,Β simple eats, and a nap. After working lots, I needed a day to play catch up with laundry, dishes, papers damn bills, workouts, and a nap πŸ™‚

The morning started with LOTS of coffee. I was dragging but knew I needed to seize the day

Breakfast was eggs and bacon

After taking andrew to school, I unloaded and reloaded the dishwasher (where do all these dishes come from when I am at work all day!) Then started laundry, and ran to the store real quick.

Then it was time to get down to business. I knew that if I didn’t work out, it wasn’t going to happen. I just started p90x3 and since I missed Monday, I did both Monday and Tuesdays workout.

Let me tell you, I LOVEDDDD it. And they are only 30minutes!Β I did total synergistics and agility x. I definitely recommend this program. and even though, I didn’t have a pull up bar at the time, I just did push ups.

Lunch time was calling my name after two sweaty workouts. Roast beef with a little bit of cheese and ketchup, cucumbers, and grapes for dessert.

Then it was nap time. I slept for an hour! My body definitely needed the rest πŸ™‚

After that it was time to clean the bathrooms. I would pay someone each week to this job haha. Andrew was finally home for school and it was time for a snack. meatballs and snow peas for me. I could feel my body needing more protein

The rest of the night was low key. I was still exhausted. So Andrew and I watched 10 kids and counting while eating stew and then dessert was a chocolate shakeology.

This time it was chocolate shake, pecans, maple syrup, and water. delicious πŸ™‚

Lots of delicious eats! simple. but good πŸ™‚

Since it is getting cold, do you switch what you eat/drink to stews, soups, and hot coffee?

 

 

 

Weekly weigh in success

Ohhh My. So u meant to publish this at the beginning of the week, but it has been alittle crazy. I picked up two extra shifts. Yep. Five 12 hour shifts. I was only off thursday. (my paycheck will thank me later)

So lets get to the good stuff….

Finally a successful week! The past few weeks I have gone up and down a lb here, and a lb there. And finally after really focusing on my eatsΒ (aka using my myfitnesspal and shakeology), and working out. Β finallyΒ I was seeing weight lose!-

I am officially down 14.5lbs from may!!! i could not be happier. I have more energy. I sleep better. My clothes fit better, and I am able to wear old/smaller scrubs to work, that earlier this year wouldnt even Fit over my hips!!!

Shakeology is definitely helping with my sugar cravings. Which i usually get at evening/night so thats when i have My shake. You can check the shakes out here!

nEW pLAN: start p90x3 on monday!!!

I am really excited to start this new program. I LOVEDDDD t25, which helped me lose the 15lbs. But im ready for a new challenge πŸ™‚

So here is to a new awesome week!! My goal is to hit the 170s By the end of the Month, just 2.5lbs. I can do this!!!

daily eats + first #shakeology

Happy Wednesday everyone! So after over a week of the challenge, I am ready for new things. I promise to share new eats and recipes but for now, Im done taking pictures of everything I eat. haha (these are pictures from the beginning of the week)

That being said, I did food prep for the two shifts I worked today and tomorrow. I made stew in the crockpot, and also homemade almond butter.

I also tried my first ever shakeology protein drink.

I used vanilla protein powder and made a pumpkin pie drink. It was pretty good, but a little sweet. They come in vanilla,chocolate, strawberry, and greenberry. I ordered the sample that is one of each flavor. After i try all of them, i will decide if i will spend the Big Bucks for more haha

My new goal is to get more sleep. I have not been getting even 7 hours, and we all know hoe cranky i can be otherwise haha.
