Weekend o’ fun

Andrew and I had a jam packed weekend o’ fun!

Photo overload… Haha

Andrew had requested pancakes for breakfast, so I whipped up some paleo pumpkin pancakes

(not as good as the apple, but you can’t go wrong with pumpkin!)

Next up was the grocery store, and then to some estate sales with my sister in law.

I picked up this small table for Andrews room(to paint), some tools for the house, small container of stain, Β and then this coat for $4!

It needs to be dry cleaned, but I have been looking for a coat like that, and they go for $80 bucks at kohls!

After a quick lunch, and 30 minute workout with p90x3, we decorated the house.

This year we were definitely behind on the decorations, but it turned out really cute. now just a nose a mouth for the front door πŸ˜‰

After running around the house, cleaning and putting things away, along with cooking, it was time for a bon fire with some of my friends.

It was such a nice night out. We had pulled pork, salsa and chips, and smores. Lots of eating!

I love that weekends can start with a great breakfast. (when I’m not working… )

Pancakes, bacon and egg for a paleo egg sandwich πŸ™‚

Andrew and I then went to church. I then did one of my favorite p90x3 workouts.

After that, it was lots of laundry, dishes, cooking, and cleaning. And baseball out front with Andrew since it is in the 80s here! After that we headed to my parents for dinner. My sister in law made this amazing cake!

It was REALLY delicious too! There has been a lot going on in the family, so we haven’t had many family dinners, and this one was needed. There is A LOT going on this week, but more on that later….

The wedding was held at the Oakland House here in St Louis. And it was absolutely gorgeous. Also, there is the option of an indoor or outdoor wedding.

Of course, the family and wedding party got to talking

It was then time to start!

I walked down with Jeff, the bride’s brother.

We made a pretty good lookin’ couple πŸ™‚

After a quick practice, in the drizzle (we even used umbrellas) it was time to head to dinner!

More babies on the way!

No. Not me. Not my brother (with the twins). Not my younger brother (who is getting married in April)

But actually it is my future sister in laws sister (did you follow that) and she is having a boy, and boys are the best!

I love that we will be having more babies in the family.

How many nieces and/or nephews do you have?

-I have 3 nephews and 1 neice

Clayton Art Fair

Great Weather in the 70s, perfect company, and amazing (and some crazy) art work lead to a great art fair.

On Sunday, they shut down some streets in Clayton. There was a street for food, several for all the art, and at least two different stages for the bands to play.

The place was really hopping, and then when we left at 1pm, it was packed!

At one point, we all took a break so the boys could rest their legs, and we listened to the music

I didn’t take pictures of the artwork, just because most of the artists are not as well known. Some even had signs not to take pictures.

But it was an amazing experience! And we all had a great time! Such a great time, we all needed a nap haha

Question for you:

What type of art do you like?

Do you have much art in your home?

-I don’t have any. I love pictures, but I dont like many modern day artwork
