What I ate Wednesday: It’s all about the watermelon

THis weeks eats are actually from Tuesday (SHHHhh don’t tell anyone)

Breakfast: Banana Pancake (a little overcooked) and 2 strips of turkey bacon


Lunch: Steak, watermelon, and cucumbers.


Obviously the watermelon was the star of the show because that is the only picture I took haha

Dinner: Baked chicken wings and celery


And morning glory muffins for dessert 🙂

What I ate Wednesday: Favorites

Tuesday started off like many days, Andrew waking me up way to early breakfast! I have been on a banana pancake kick

With my TO DO LIST to attack!


First, I made it back to my 10am class at the gym. wahoo! feel the burn

Lunch was another favorite!

Followed by a blueberry scone that my mom makes with our blueberries from <a href=”https://livinlifeinlouie.wordpress.com/2013/07/25/michigan-activities/”>Michigan.


She really should open a scone shop! haha

Thursday Eats

A few days ago, I took off from blogging. I needed some space. I was a little busy, and needed to regroup.  I have been off with my eating and workouts lately.

So I took off and got it back together. Today, I made it to the gym. I walked 5 minutes for a warm up. Then biked 9miles, and hit the weights for 20 minutes. It felt great.

I also thought I would show my eats for the day. Just for kicks. 🙂

Breakfast- arnolds thin, PB, and banana with coffee

Snack- Apple while running to pick up the front door! (color to come soon!)

Lunch- leftover chicken quesadilla, and watermelon

Trail mix for dessert

snack: Peanut butter Pretzels

Dinner– Pizza (x2) watermelon and carrots

Watermelon Ship

This is another pinterest project, that was SO easy. The website, also has about twenty other designs as well!

1.) Grab your watermelon and wash the outside.

2.) Then cut the top 1/3 off

3.) Next cut and/or scoop the inside out of the “ship”

4.) Then design however you wish!

We of course used an American flag and lego people, thanks to Andrew. We also bought swedish fish and put them on the blue towel

Happy 4th of July

I hope everyone had a great fourth! I woke up at 6:30 excited to see Andrew. He has been at his dads the past two days, and I missed him!

I then went to the gym for another circuit training- Week 7. There is a reason it was week 7…IT WAS HARD!!!! But we finished.

Grabbed one or two of these 🙂

We then cleaned up, and headed to my brother and sister in laws house.

I brought the watermelon!

The boys played…


Swam in the pool…..

And ate cake (as did I!)….

I also enjoyed some frozen drinks 🙂

Today’s winner: Dinner

A lot of my blog friends, have a What I Ate Wednesday. Well I picked Thursday instead haha 😉

Breakfast: Oatmeal Pancake w/ bananas, PB, and agave nectar on top

Snack: Cucumbers, carrots, hummus, and grapes

Snack #2: Peanut butter filled pretzels (while watching Ellen and reading blogs. I’m a muli-tasker, what can I say? haha)

(notice dirty sock and orange dart? Neither our mine. Neither of them did I pick up haha)

Snack #3: Colby cheese and apple slices (obviously I ate lunch in 3 parts today haha)

Dinner: The winner of the evening Barbeque!!!! This was our first time grilling since last summer!! (the horror!)

We had hamburgers, sweet potato fries, and watermelon. It is starting to feel like summer! (along with the 95 degree weather- YUCK)

(3 plates you might ask? My mom came over to eat with us, since my dad is out of town)

Dessert: Good o’ ted drews 🙂

(huge ice cream. saving the other 1/2 for tomorrow)

3 new! (PB banana bread)

As I went back to look at pictures for the day, I realized I had a different lunch, dinner, and dessert. Love when I try new things.

Unfortuantly luckily breakfast was the AWESOME egg, banana, pb sandwich (dont knock it till you try it!)

It was POURING in st louis today ( I guess no pool)

SOOOO what to do….


It was a really cute movie! We stopped at the gas station to get drinks (diet for me. bug juice for him) And he got a snack. I packed my own (YEA ME!) I went with 100cal kettle corn popcorn and Cocoa covered almonds. It did the trick! All for about 250 calories.

After hitting up sams, it was already 130 and I was HUNGRYYYYY. Lunch was a chicken fajita.

With a side of watermelon

simple and awesome. I also had two dove chocolates to end the meal

Then around 5oclock I got hungry. I got some colby cheese and a bowl of fiber one cereal and soy milk. Not pretty to take a picture of, but this is!

Im not sure who I stole this recipe from, but I did change it a bit.

Peanut Butter Banana Bread


-2 bananas, mashed

-1/3 c low fat greek yogurt

-4tbsp PB

-3Tbsp light butter (I used 2)

-1 egg

-1/4 c white sugar

-1/4 c brown sugar

-1/2c splenda

-1 1/4cup whole wheat flour

-3/4 tsp baking soda

-1/2 tsp salt

-1/2 tsp cinnamon


– Preheat oven to 350

-Mid first five ingredients

-Then add sugars

-Combine flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon

-Add to banana mixture

– Pour in 9X5 pan coated with cooking spray

– Bake for 25-30 minutes


I made this while I ate shrimp, spaghetti noodles, and laughing cow cheese


Now…Im wondering how long I have to wait for that to cool before it will burn my tongue…..Im going for it! haha
