Spring Wreath Making

I started this blog last week, but with everything going on (aka me not leaving my bed), it took the back burner. Now that I have moved to the couch, I am able to get a few things done haha.

On a serious note, I am feeling better today. After about a week, things are starting to turn around 🙂 Now to come off the jelly and bread diet haha

With time off from work, I made a list of what I wanted to do around the house. There are big and little odds and ends I have wanted to complete. I know that I wouldn’t be able to do a ton, but this way I had the list for when I was feeling 100%

One of the projects was a Spring wreath for the front door. Of course, saw it on pinterest

It was super easy, and with a Hobby Lobby coupon, it wasn’t too expensive!

I bought a couple bouquets of flowers (instead of one stem with one big flower~money saver!)

I cut each and stuck them in the wood wreath to make them look like one large flower.

I think it turned out great! And it brought some nice weather 🙂

I also had a buddy that was helping me

Question for you:

What is your favorite part of Spring?

Do you like to do crafts for your house?

Its time for fall!

The weather here in St Louis has been absolutely gorgeous! So long 100 degree weather- HELLLOOO 70s!! haha.

Today, I was cleaning and picking up the house (Mr Flowers will be here Thursday!) and I decided to get out the fall decorations

Apparently, I don’t have very many…..

And of course the wreath for the front door. Now I need to put a nail in my brand new door (eek!)

I also have visitors in a few weeks (hint: tiffany and angela) and want the house all fancy for them too! They are coming for the rock n roll marathon.

Question for you?

– Are you ready for fall?

– Do you like to decorate?

Easy Project

My brother is always saying the home projects I pick are alittle difficult haha. Well a few days ago, I picked up a few items because I was going to finish an easy pinterest project. And another wreath for the house

There was really only a few steps. First, I wrapped the wreath with blue and red yarn. This was the most time consuming part.

I also spray painted a few stars

I finally got a glue gun!

And attached them to the wreath- ALL DONE!

you can find the project here.

Last Day!

Last Day of First grade that is. How crazy is that?!?!?!

Ok. Let’s move on 😦

Today, is just random. But days like today make life exciting and fun.

First, I found some protein powder at Sam’s. FOUR LBS OF IT!!!!

Strength training workout of the day: Dumbbell Tricep Extensions (demo from sparkpeople.com)

Andrew had his last day of first grade.

The first second graders met at Ted Drews for a nice treat. The kids were everywhere!

I am going to start another project. Thanks pinterest! This one should only take an hour or so (more to come on that)

And look what I found on my way to bed!

Well, I hope you had a great Thursday.

Question for you:

Do you use protein powder?

What is your favorite way to use protein powder?

-I put it in with my green monster shakes. YUM!
